it's sem break...and i wish it would be long and boring...i want to have as much rest as i can...plus i'm practicing driving....
that last freakin semester was long and tiring. you learn alot. things you could use in your profession that are very much relevant in real life. things that may sometimes seem impractical. every single day was full of "things". from demonstrating stuff like how you inject drugs intradermally [skin only] to bathing unconscious people...and dude you do this to real people, not some manequin....you prepare for reports that seem to never run out...and impromptu speeches that freak me out since i expect to suck..yet it turns out to be a comedy fiasco... maybe the speech sucked but i still manage to have fun and share this fun...for me that's a 10 out of 10.
i had a very long day this friday, exams in the morning, lounging til lunch, roaming 168 for three hours. then ipanema, eastwood at night. that was hell loaded plus we heard news that a batchmate died of a gunshot. [i_i],

hah..played killer killer with my classmates after duty to kill time...the consequences were hillarious...Keshia stopped a car from leaving the parking lot ("manong wait lang po..consequence") and introduced herself in the middle of the catwalk the second time she was caught ("ako po si keshia, nahuli ako ng killer...bow")....Cid went inside the faculty room and danced(a hell freaky dance) in front of the window so that we could see him from the outside...talk about shitty consequences...haha..

had my first pedia patient...kids are very hard to handle but really cute once you get around them (tip: pahawak mo ID mo habang kinukuhaan ng vital signs...it works) ...sad story though, he has to celebrate his first birthday in the hospital today *tears*...also, i handled a 30y/o patient who fell from a moving LRT train...soooper nakakaawa...poor guy...working in the male surgery ward is intoxicating (nakakalasing??)..but, hell, you learn a lot...from bloody stool[hematochezia] to bloody vomit[hematemesis] (ewwww)...hehe..that's nursing, dude....

willy wonka found his place in my heart...it was an amazingly crafted kids film. fun-filled but with morals spread throughout the movie. the movie had its share of dim and colrful scenes. the oompa loompa scenes were cute to a certain level but it became kinda' irritating later on. trivia: hundred thousands of gallons of fake chocolate were used for the river and waterfalls.

hah! turned 18 on a monday...of all the days in a week...you turn 18 on a day where everyone's fired up...sana friday nlng para mejo tired na sila at para isang araw lang ang treat...hindi week long celebration...thanks, anyway, to those who remembered.

had my first interaction with the clinical setting, my first patient in the hospital suffered pneumonia and has difficulties in breathing, which made it really hard for me to ask questions, so i asked if she'd be more comfortable if i questioned her relatives...hehe...the second one, undergoes "chemo", she's quite jaded and expressionless....the third, who happens to be the most lively and most coherent and cooperative of all, seems to have difficulties in all aspects of her life i ask: [excerpt of the interview][this is not necessarily how it went, just the gist]
me: mam, meh problema po ba tayo sa pagtulog?
her: ay naku...ang sakit ng batok ko pag natutulog...tsaka iregular ung tulog ko...minsan mahaba, minsan maikli
me: e sa pagihi po?
her: ay iregular den...mga evry 5-6 days lang ako nakakaihi
me: ah ganon po ba...sa pagdumi po?
her: sabay lang sa pagihi e...[" ,]

this is one of the things you learn in sports, the art of saying "that's not right" in a non-verbal manner. too bad he has to learn it early in his life(usually occurs in early puberty a.k.a. fifth grade). life's a bitch most of the times. you pour your heart at doing something, you give it your very best, but then you look back and see that it was all a big mess. just a big mess. you go back to scratch hoping that the next time would be better and hopefully satisfying.

it felt like first day of freshmen year...new classmates, new lifestyle...buti na lang mabait ang mga new classmates ko..hehe...kahit 12 lang kme at 36 sila eh mas maingay pa kme. it gets very hectic and stressfull. full of orientations and seminars, make-up classes and make-up duties. lesson learned: maggupit ng kuko.

"honest tea", a shop in batanes, like any other convenience store, sells different stuff but the difference is that there's no one watching the store...hah..you pay by dropping money on a box and in case of change you may pick it up the next morning...a sign upfront says "the Lord is my security guard"...tignan natin kung may magnakaw. another thing, their mayor was said to return $20,000 to a foreigner who left his envelope on the city airport. question: if you have 1,000,000 pesos cold-cash in your hands...what would you do?

batman begins is a good movie. i expected that it would be alike the first ones but it wasn't. proof: i was awake the whole time. [on the other hand: madagascar was cute yet boring, some funny scenes but most were adjusted for kids so i wasn't able to appreciate it.]

as promised by george lucas, star wars III turned out to be the darkest episode off the whole system.
[warning: major spoilers]
i am such a star wars fan and i have no other word to describe this movie but DEPRESSING. imagine, supreme chancelor palpatine revealed his true self as darth sidious, persuaded anakin to not only change sides but change his whole perspective. the killing of the jedis was unbearable, specially the backstabbed ones and the younglings(killed by ani himself). i am one of the ultimate hayden christensen fans, this role was probably the best and worst he could ever play. the fight scenes were, as usual, superb!. mace windu was blowne away. padme died. there's nothing in this movie that is positive except the way it was made. it was a very satisfying movie. got my mind really rolling.

wednesday was a full day,
work out in the morning.
went to watch "mr. and mrs. smith" after lunch. [about it: potential spoiler] the movie is an action packed love story. huh? yeah, couple friendly film. brad pitt was in his usual hot self and angelina jolie made judy ann look stupid. she showed how it is to be a real female action star. femme fetale yet finicky and gentle.
saw KIM REYES, it made me really happy, it's been two months since i last saw kheemy. then i saw kyle with her bf edward. helped a friend shop. ate at bread talk. what can i say? cheap yet delectable. sana may bread talk malapit a school.
